PHOTO REASON IN SPACE

Photo Reason in Space is our offline space established in early 2024 in collaboration with One-Way Space·Hangzhou Lediharbor Store.
Since its inception, Photo Reason has had ambitious plans: online, we aspire to be a photography podcast that combines depth and breadth of content, professional and public perspectives, with the most pleasant listening experience possible. Offline, we aim to transform from a "program" living in everyone's phones into a tangible photography brand, building a healthy photography culture community ecosystem. The offline space is a crucial part of this plan.
Photo Reason in Space is:
• Reading Space
We have moved nearly a thousand photography books and theory books from our personal collection (except for some that are not suitable for public display) to this offline space. Together with books donated by friends, it has become a photography library of considerable scale. In the future, we will gradually bring back a batch of collections currently overseas to this space. With regular updates, we believe photography book enthusiasts will find reading joy here.
Special Note:
- All on-site books are personal collections and not for sale;
- Please take care of the books; all books must not be taken outside this area.
• Exchange Space
Every month, we organize at least one photography-related exchange activity on weekends: it could be a sharing session—in addition to ourselves, we also invite other creators to come on-site to share their works and creative experiences; it could also be a book club—we regularly organize themed photography book clubs, inviting everyone to share and discuss together; of course, it could also be other forms of activities. We look forward to everyone's participation!
• Exhibition Space
We regularly hold small photography-themed exhibitions in this space—including individual photographer exhibitions and community group exhibitions. Beyond our own area, One-Way Space has many public areas available for exhibitions.
• Workshop Space
Some of the Photo Reason Academy workshop content will also take place in this space. After all, in addition to professional visualization equipment, there are nearly a thousand photography books available for reading and learning (during classes, we can even directly "pull out" suitable case works from the shelves to provide students with the most intuitive references).
